[BODY]

Volvo is prepared for the inevitable shift to fully-automated vehicles that is to occur over the coming years. Tesla and Google have been vocal about their ambitions in the automobile landscape, and now Volvo has its answer to the future of travel.

Travel eats up our time, especially driving long distances. Driving deprives the driver of the ability to multitask or even rest for a moment. Flying commercially, while often a cumbersome endeavor with checking-in, security lines, and delays, retains its appeal because it allows travelers to accomplish other things as they make their way to their destination.

The 360c offers this very same experience in the comfort of a luxury vehicle, rendering the hassles of flying totally avoidable if one is seeking a relaxing journey or needs to get some work finished.

This mindset is to be expected from leading tech companies. Volvo, a trusted automobile brand since 1927, is ahead of the curve when compared to the competition. Adapting to this paradigm shift is a top priority to adapt and keep pace with the needs and wants of travelers.

Volvo’s ambitions don’t stop there - The 360c also introduces a proposal for a standardized autonomous vehicle communication system.

This allows autonomous vehicles to communicate and understand what each one’s next move is going to be. Volvo’s idea for the vehicle is supplemented with an ideal travel infrastructure for the highest level of safety.

With the rapidity of change in travel that becomes more apparent with every year, it’s clear Volvo is prepared for the simultaneous change in expectations and standards of drivers.
